I think they called the wrong photo result at Perth 17:35....
Result has been changed 50 mins after the event in all outlets.

When was the weigh-in called? Which will we be paid out on?

Betfair have now resettled with the corrected winner. Intrigued to know whether the weigh-in was called or not.

What a shambles!

Apparently the weigh in was called before the error was corrected. So the original result should stand for betting purposes. But for now, Betfair have the market settled with the corrected result as the winner.

Race 8 - 5:35pm
THE EVERY RACE LIVE ON RACING TV OPEN NATIONAL HUNT FLAT RACE (CLASS 4) (Category 1 Elimination) (GBB RACE)

An enquiry was held to establish the circumstances surrounding why the Judge incorrectly announced KSAR D’DOUDAIRIES (FR) as the winner and FISKARDO (IRE) as the second placed horse before subsequently re-announcing the correct result after the weighed in signal was given. The Judge, the Photo-Finish Operator, and the Chief Steward were interviewed. Having heard their evidence, a report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration and the amended result was as follows: First – FISKARDO (IRE), Second – KSAR D’OUDAIRIES (FR), Third – ROCK ON RONNIE (IRE), Fourth – AR AIS ARIS (IRE) after the weighed in signal had been given.

I can't imagine how bad they were scrambling after the weigh-in call had been made!

Really don't know how they've been able to amend the result after they've weighed in, if so at what point does the race actually become official?

When do bookies pay out now if they cannot trust the weigh in process?

Betfair result has been reversed again, with the originally declared victor now back as the winner.

Incompetence of the highest order. Unforgiveable and as above, how can bookies know what the official result is if 'weighed in' isn't final?

It seems Betfair forgot their own rules - 'All individual race markets will be determined according to the official result at the time of the 'weigh-in' announcement (or equivalent). Subsequent disqualifications, appeals or amendments to the result will be disregarded.'

Just really really bad luck to those who backed the real winner and people need to be sacked after this fiasco
