Yeah who is this Euler??!!

I would say that the vast majority of trading videos I have ever watched are Peter's and I'm not just saying that because we are on here!!
I prefer the calmer, measured manner which I found easier to understand.

And as Peter says, he has produced hundreds covering virtually everything and I would urge anyone whose keen on learning trading to take the time to watch some. I did most of my learning watching these videos.

I also never liked the Geeks Toy software too that Caan uses, although liked him.

I occasionally revisit the Ben Angel Academy as a quick refresher when I maybe have had a losing day or some trades which went south as think no matter how experienced we are there are always times we need reminding ourselves of best practice etc.

Did you join his mailing list?
Just wondering that, if you did, what kind of stuff you're getting sent from him?
He has recently produced a horse race steamerbot using .baf's on Bet Angel. He's selling it for over £2k.

The way he describes it, it has a myriad of data points that sweeps every runner in a race, and flags up a signal for an manual entry point. Then at the off, you trade out. (Green or red).

Some of his videos have been interesting and he is passionate about the subject overall.

My view is, you could develop your own steamer-bot, starting with the free ones that Dallas puts up, with follow up questions.
£2k!! That seems a lot.

Which of the free bots are you referring to?

Here's one written around 10 years ago (good starting point)

One bot he did have which I thought was quite useful was that he'd developed this bot where his net stake to be offset was always spread in increments over six prices, although I do recall BA developing a servant that did something similar a long time ago so it was not a new idea :D

2k for a 2min spike steamer bot. I'll pass. If it were robust and scalable, he wouldn't sell it that cheap. £2K is a nice muggy price point though for a semi-edge.

How embarrassing. I feel like such an idiot for not knowing. Apologies to you Peter, I have indeed watched many of your videos.
I would post under my real name, but it's good forum etiquette, especially when you're dealing with high-value accounts, not to use your real name. Or at least nothing that links you to an account name.

Hmmm!
£2,199,99
Where does he get that last 99pence from
I have had a look at his stuff and he seems a nice enough lad,but I get the impression he has majored in psychology rather than trading. He would be a great motivational speaker, because like Caan their presentation is brilliant.
Kind Regards

Agree, he presents well and is a nice enough lad.

I read, that when pricing a product, ending in a 7 is a good way to go. £2,197.00 might work better.

As previously said, there's a lot of free advice on this forum and .baf examples to get someone started.

There is a snake oil salesman, that I have come across over the years, who's pricing always ends in a 7.

Price before discount, and there's always a discount, and price after discount, always ended in 7.

Honestly, what better crowd to inflate your prices to than the matched betting crowd, since "easy profit" is all they really know?

So it's not a bad business model overall... you make some matched betting tutorials or whatever and build a following that you can later farm and sell stuff to, which probably wasn't even the original intention. And you obviously have to play the Youtube algo game and make the titles exactly what people want to hear or make a stupid face for every thumbnail, whether you like it or not. Hopefully they have some ladder content, because if a channel doesn't have that you can pretty much discard it immediately.

But yeah... even as I'm entering into my 40s I've seen enough of the psychology behind trading to know it's not something I’d ever feel comfortable exploiting ,as easy as it would be. Selling the dream and monetizing hope just isn't for me, I guess because I know how difficult it is to develop and maintain an edge. I've made loads of ladder videos but only for my use, and mostly as a reminder for future markets of the same type, or to maybe commemorate bigger milestone results. Even if I lost my edge I'm pretty sure I'd rather move on to a different market altogether than start selling obsolete crap in this space.

Which is why I quite like what Anyman has done for example, not checked in on him in a while but it's a trader I can relate to. I think transparency like that (if you can afford it) goes a very long way, the vlog stuff and everything. More importantly, nobody's getting ripped off, people know exactly how much you've made and how, so they at least know what they're buying etc.
