I was just chatting with somebody else within the team, and we were both at a loss to understand what the rule is and how they can define whether somebody runs or not.

Still getting missing silks today. Killarney 18:37, 19:37 & Roscommon 20:23 I have had the PC off for the last 6 days. I will try the check box and restart. I much prefer the old style with the straight arms so you cn see the whole shirt.

Checking the box and restarting has resolved the missing silks problem, but they look horrendous.

How can we get them to keep the old style?

These races are working for me on one PC but missing on another.

I notice these races feature the new round 'ball' style silk graphics.

Every time I restart Bet Angel on the affected PC different races are missing silks.

I've figured out a workaround that doesn't require any restart...
> load all markets into Guardian
> remove any markets with missing silks from Guardian (making sure not to leave the market live in a one-click screen or ladder)
> refresh all markets in the 'select markets' tab on the 'market selection' screen
> reload missing markets
> repeat until all markets are loaded with correct silks.

Once the silks are loaded correctly in a market they seem to stay so far.

I imagine the silk graphics come from Betfair so there's nothing you can do to prescribe the type used. The BA guys would need to confirm this.

If you go on the Betfair website and go in and out of the 1723 @ Roscommon, occasionally the silks will load all grey. It's as if the background silks data disappears occasionally and they fail to load if a drop-out coincides with you loading the market. Most likely this is connected to the Bet Angel silks issue too?

Re the new silks. Don't know if any truth in it, but just read this on the Betfair forum.

They are, indeed, horrible. The new style makes it difficult to make out the secondary colours and arms, plus they are slightly smaller.

Peter, if this is to be what we are stuck with long term, is there any chance of Bet Angel being able to at least make them appear a little bigger?
