Life, recently, as a Gooner. You expect/know City will win their remaining matches so your team cannot afford a single falter. Lose and City take the title, draw and they will probably still take the title because of goal difference. Arsenal seem to have forgotten you need goals to win a game and win a title. Unless you are winning by at least 2 and preferably 3 or more goals successfully passing the ball back from your opponent's half to your half and then passing it from left to right and right to left does not win games ... nor does the result depend upon the number of back-passes to the goalie.

Arsenal had the opportunity to increase their goal difference against Fulham ... they had them on the run but instead of looking for second half goals they upped the score of backwards and side to side passes! I overheard in the commentary yesterday that they hadn't scored a second-half goal in the Premier League for 5 matches ... no doubt too busy passing backwards!

... I can't ever remember seeing a player attempting to clear a ball from within their own penalty area by using an overhead scissor kick, unless it is to prevent a certain goal e.g off the goal line 🤦‍♂️
