The races at Newcastle and Newbury are working well on Betdaq. Give it a try now Betfair is off line.

ive been having minor freezes all afternoon. and then a big slow up during the hennessy.

i did not realise this fred had been moved to from gen betting to here.

if i had looked properly i would have realised that betfair was starting/likely to crash/freeze up. ive been mucking about with my broadband and windows manager etc for nothing. idiot :lol:

Connection mode one is working but I'd be very cautious.

how do you play things on Betdaq... do you watch the price action on Betfair and place trades on both?

Better of not using Betfair for the rest of the day IMHO. They need to tell us what is going on, clearly and specifically. Else I've not confidence in using them again till Monday.

i loged off connection mode 0 .to log in on 1 .cant get in now at all..

ive not been able to log into mode 1 for 3 days now. read a fred on support, said something about a change at betfairs end, and support had to change something.

i assume they must have completed any change that was needed, but i have not been able to log in to mode 1 today. should i email support?

had the same problem...

downloaded 1.30 beta and resolved itself...

Betfair claim that traders don't bring anything to them, well the kast race Bangor only matched £167000.

Can you please clarify
I noticed a problem logging in on mode 1 on Thursday morning..but before I logged a support call I upgraded to 1.30.0...I still couldn't log in on mode 1 and have ran it on Mode 0 since..

Your post above seems to suggest that v1.30.0 will work with Mode 1??Have you altered the code since Thursday morning (on V1.30.0) (i.e. after I upgraded, because I still can't use mode 1?

Peter,
I reloaded 1.30 this afternoon and logged in mode 1 ok, was using it most of the afternoon; all good.
