Looks like Jack Mitchell forgot his horse had a blindfold on in the Yarmouth 14:40.

For some reason the Stewards have deemed it a non-runner. Can't see why from the replays. Will be interesting the see the Stewards' report.

"An enquiry was held into the start of this race and the participation of ALMATY STAR drawn 13, ridden by Jack Mitchell. The rider and the Starter were interviewed and shown recordings of the start. The Stewards considered that the gelding was prevented from starting on equal terms due to having its head was turned to the side and Mitchell being unable to remove the blindfold and therefore did not have full control of his mount as the gates opened, resulting in the gelding being slowly away and detached from the field. The Stewards ordered that ALMATY STAR be declared a non-runner."
