I see they are moving the remaining straight races from outside course to inside course. They ran on the inside course yesterday.
I wonder if there's any possible implications for set-up/calibration of the photo finish cameras?

Last two days, the sound and volume mixes of studio/on-course RTV tracks have been terrible. Extreme variances in volume between feeds, and sometimes even between pundits at the same track. Multiple mics with distortion.
I'm constantly turning my volume up and down. It's been horrible!

13:55 @ Leicester. A colours mix-up and lost anyway.
Someone backed Bundok for c.£5k instead of Secret Harvest just before the line. But Secret Harvest got beat anyway by the fast-closing fav so I suppose he only lost once instead of twice.

With Kamille Au Kanada trading at 1.01, but 3 obstacles left to jump, it reminded me that we haven't had a leading final fence faller for months!
Must be some due...

What looks like a misfiring bot at Ballinrobe today, happened in a couple of races around 8 minutes out.

I've often looked at the 1.01'ers with one fence to go thinking "do they fall more often than 1:100?" but don't have the stats to prove it nor the inclination to watch every race for when the opportunity may present itself.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2026 5:46 pmWith Kamille Au Kanada trading at 1.01, but 3 obstacles left to jump, it reminded me that we haven't had a leading final fence faller for months!

Hi everyone,
I’m not sure if this is the right thread to ask, but I’ll try here.
I’m looking for a source of live drone footage for horse racing for in-play trading. I’d like to find a proper paid service or a reliable contact that provides a better race angle than the standard broadcast.
The main issue is that the usual front-on camera often doesn’t show the real geometry of the race clearly. I’m interested in seeing the actual positions, gaps between horses, and how the field is really moving during the race.
If anyone knows a good reliable provider, or can point me in the right direction, I’d really appreciate it. If this is not something usually discussed publicly, feel free to send me a private message.
Thanks.

Overall they will fall or unseat more often than 1 in 100. But of course, seasoned jumpers with an easy lead and good jumping record will significantly out-perform the average. Therein lies the edge.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2026 3:58 amI've often looked at the 1.01'ers with one fence to go thinking "do they fall more often than 1:100?" but don't have the stats to prove it nor the inclination to watch every race for when the opportunity may present itself.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2026 5:46 pmWith Kamille Au Kanada trading at 1.01, but 3 obstacles left to jump, it reminded me that we haven't had a leading final fence faller for months!
