Hi Dallas,

Firstly thank you for the excellent work on these files, they are much appreciated.

I have read through this thread and the CS Bot thread at viewtopic.php?f=50&t=17043 thoroughly, including your December 2022 post where you explain taking the CS rules file, having it trigger at HT, and copying the Stored Value condition from the match odds green up rule into the lay rule.

I understand the concept and the two-file structure. What I am trying to do is a slight variation — rather than triggering when a goal has been scored at any point, I want to trigger specifically when the half time score is exactly 1-0 to the home team.

To confirm the score is exactly 1-0 at HT I intend to use three conditions in the CS market file:
- Row 1 (0-0 score): back price above 500 (confirming 0-0 is no longer possible)
- Row 2 (0-1 score): back price above 500 (confirming 0-1 is no longer possible)
- Row 5 (1-0 score): back price between 2.0 and 6.0 (confirming this IS the current score)

All three conditions to apply only during the 45-55 minute in-play window.

When all three are met, the Match Odds file lays the draw.

My specific questions are:
1. Following your advice, should I copy the existing CS rule three times (once for each condition) or can all three price conditions sit within a single rule?
2. In the Match Odds lay rule, do I then need three separate Stored Value conditions — one for each of the three stored values set by the CS file?
3. Is there anything specific about checking prices above 500 (rather than a price range) that needs handling differently in the conditions page?

I am running Bet Angel Professional with Guardian on Windows 11.

Many thanks,
Gary

1, All three conditions can be added to the same Stored Value rule
2, Not if adding the three conditions to the same stored value, as that would only be set once all three are satisfied
If you opted for three Stored value rules (one for each score line), then you'd need conditions to check each of them
3, Apart from it only needs one fixed odds condition where as checking a range needs two

Hi Dallas,

Thank's very much for the quick and clear response, that's really helpful.

Just to confirm I have understood correctly:
- One Stored Value rule in the CS market file containing all four conditions
- Row 1 back price greater than 500
- Row 2 back price greater than 500
- Row 5 back price greater than 2.0
- Row 5 back price less than 6.0
- The stored value only gets set when all four are satisfied simultaneously
- The Match Odds Lay Draw file then has one condition checking for that stored value

What I am still unclear on, is the exact steps inside Guardian to build this. Specifically:

1. In the CS market file — when I click Add Rule and choose Set Stored Value, how do I add multiple conditions to that single rule? Is it simply a case of adding each condition one by one on the Conditions tab, in the same way conditions are added to a standard betting rule?

2. For the Row 5 price range — since checking a range needs two conditions (greater than 2.0 AND less than 6.0), do both conditions reference Row 5, and is Row 5 selected as a Nominated selection on the Conditions tab in the same way as Rows 1 and 2?

3. In the Match Odds Lay Draw file — on the Conditions tab, what type of condition do I add to check for the stored value? Is it a Stored Value condition type, and if so what value do I check for?

4. Does the CS market file need to be loaded on the same event as the Match Odds file for the stored value to be shared between them?

I realise these are quite basic questions but I want to make sure I get it right first time given the financial implications of any misfire.

Many thanks,
Gary

Run new automations in Practice Mode first.

Practice Mode is a great safe space for those new to Bet Angel automations. You can play with all the rules and learn without fear or risk.

Yes, that's right

1, You don't need to add any rules, just add the conditions to the existing rule

2, Correct

3, The condition is already there and checking for the SV, you don't need to touch this

4, Yes, there is an image in the opening post showing how your market list in Guardian should look

At the bottom of the Stored value tab there is a box you can tick to 'write the names of the stored value to the log file' (or words to that effect)
If you tick that then you can run the stored value file on its own and check the log to see if its triggered correctly

Ince you can see that it is you can then start applying the Lay the Draw file to the Match Odds market, as if it then fails to trigger you know its something in the match odds files thats not right

As James said use Practice mode until you are 100% certain its working correctly, I (and i'm sure James will do this too) but even now whenever I create a new automation file or make any edits it's always tested in practice mode till i'm 100% happy with it.
