Accuracy of Projected BSP for Lay bet just before the off

Hi,

I'm looking to place a lay bet if the projected BSP odds are within a range. Does anyone have insight into the accuracy of the projected BSP odds say at 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 min etc compared to the actual BSP after the off?

No it's not accurate at all. Most of the money arrives late, which changes the SP very close to the off.
