That's the point. They are pandering to their own ideals, primarily because it makes them feel good or look good in the eyes of their peers.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Fri Jun 26, 2026 7:08 amWho defines what is "politically correct"? I really enjoyed this interview --- question is when ALL teams employ data scientists...where is the edge ?

Guys, if you haven't worked it out yet - It's all just the latest leftist attempt to seize power and get you to STFU!!!jamesedwards wrote: ↑Fri Jun 26, 2026 11:30 amThat's the point. And it's working too. Everybody is shit scared of being called racist, sexist, phobic of this n that. they've got you by the balls and will jail you for any transgression. Plus all the normies believe what they're fed.
There's Individual freedom vs Group identity (commies, socialists, wokeists, marxists, nazis etc). period.

Lions, Round Table, WI. All fabulous charitable institutions, also.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2026 7:51 pmScreenshot_20260625_194736_Google.jpgCrazyskier wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2026 7:03 pm
Around 200k of us meeting at 8k+ lodges in the UK, and 6m Masons globally! Nearly all senior Policemen, Judiciary, Royalty, etc are on the square.
Yeah it was well known for being where people in power do "favours" for each other. Like a gathering of wronguns and bent coppers. I assume Prince Andrew was one.
Our local charitable organisation is the Lions, ordinary people.

Pushing my luck...
Egypt and Iran both (almost certainly) qualify with a draw tonight. Could it be the 6th 0-0 of the tournament so far?

No, the schedule really has been relentless, the people who put it together must be crackheads, it's been like this ever since they started making up new competitions like the Nations LeagueJuiceyJones wrote: ↑Fri Jun 26, 2026 10:49 pmI thought it was my age showing. Its does feel like a lot of football this year.
But nobody will complain about extra markets, I wasn't sure what to expect liquidity wise but didn't expect to smash past all of my milestones in the group stages already, and same story with the big racing this year, the execution has felt very clean overall once I minimized distractions
Hope others are having a good tourney trading/watching/cheering, I can barely stand watching some matches but at least the markets have been very blatant with their behaviour
EDIT: One thing I'll say though is that these shameless hydration breaks need to fuck off from football, I don't think some of the 0-0s that happened would have been possible without them, they kill momentum and give the defending team 3 HTs to rest and reorganize

Having a little look at how the knockout stage is forming.
If I've got it right, then looks important for England to top the group and get in the bottom half of the draw.
Top half contains:
Germany
France
Netherlands
Spain
USA
Belgium
probably Portugal.
Bottom half contains:
Brazil
Mexico
Argentina
Norway
