Amazing game. England had everything against them and they pulled it off. Even two extremely negative VAR decisions.

Great performance.

Hi All,
Nearly traded out yesterday before the Eng/Mex match ,but decided to see it through (as a lay) to the finals .Eng are fav for the Norway match, but I can't see why ,could be a good in play match.Belgium should see the US off with a score 7-0 or is that just wishful thinking
Regards

Ahead of the US men’s national team’s last-16 match against Belgium, Donald Trump had put in a series of phone calls to Gianni Infantino, as the US Soccer Federation sought ways to suspend the one-match ban issued to US striker Folarin Balogun.

And it seems that's the one match ban will now be served after the WC.

If Balogun doesn't rule himself out for the Belgium game, then Belgium need to give him a good kicking. This is exactly the sort of BS everyone expected from Trump and his circus and sure enough here it comes.

Although obscenely arrogant, what I do like about Trump is that he's a properly partisan leader. We could do with a bit more of that over here instead of constantly apologising for everything.

It's not Trump or Balogun's fault that FIFA are weak enough to acquiesce to his request.

Could it be the beginning of the end?

There's nothing to like about Trump, strong leaders with conviction are fine, but if you follow US politics you'll see it's underpinned by criminality, theft and rigging the judiciary. And anyone who threatens a NATO member while alledgely being in NATO is a piece of shit..... And then blatantly ignoring the SC instructions to release the Epstein files, with the assistance of Noam and Patel. Ditto supporting openly fascist organisations with his buddy Hegseth. It's like saying "what I do like about Jimmy Savelle is his commitment to flashy tracksuits"

And the USMNT are a disgrace for exploiting that fact and using Trump to twist arms. It's not like Trump would be all over Article 27 (or whatever it is) about deferred punishments and do this himself.
