I've experience of both public and private sector, and they really are night and day.

One is laid back, inefficient, wasteful, full of red tape, and stagnant, with no incentive to improve. The other is faster, leaner, hyper-efficient and dynamic, continuously striving to improve..

Improve what!!!! shareholders profits?.

Yes, if you like. Company and shareholder profits which are taxed, and reinvested, therefore helping the public purse still further.

Plus service, offer, innovation, and efficiency.

Bit of a random one but for some reason felt need to get it off my chest:

Music documentary programmes, that don't actually play the music!

Endless people just yakking, or narrators, 3 seconds of song randomly, then yakking, wider shots of people walking around, smoking etc etc... but not the ferking music that you actually found the most interesting..!

Reminded me of the time BBC had a documentary about the songs it had banned and played them all to demonstrate the song! Really.
