This would be a great addition, the annoyance of odds moving against you while only having the 100% option is real. As a manual workaround in the meantime, onlinepercentage.net makes it quick to calculate the partial stake yourself, just take the 100% green-up figure BA shows you and run it through the percentage-of-a-number calc for whatever split you want (25%, 33.333%, etc.) before entering it manually at each price point. Not as slick as having it built in, but saves doing the maths in your head under time pressure.

...if and hopefully when this suggestion is implemented in a future version of Bet Angel, people will wonder why it took so long to be added as it's very reason is to maximise P&L returns and not spook the market with too large exit stakes.

Surely the button is just for clearing up the last bit of imbalance, if you built a position using 50s then you know you'll reduce it incrementally with similar stake. And you aren't maximising returns by taking prices, hitting the button costs money every time you do it.

...no-one knows exactly where a price will eventually settle - this is a simple process of 'greening as you go' rather than greening at the end when your stake is zero and being able to do so in chunks of 5%, 10%, 20%, 25%, 33⅓% or 50% rather than 100% all in one go.

Can't you just do this with stored values? If you want pre-set options as well then where do you stop? Supposing I want to green up 58%?

I suppose being able to display the current 100% green up stake might be handy? then if it's say £210 then someone could select their £20 preset stake button and hit it 5 times. Doesn't need to be exact I'd have thought, it's just reducing some exposure.

Many ways to skin a cat.

I think the Betfair site does that when you hover over 'cash out'? Shows the stake? Might be wrong I don't use it .... But then obv you get the slider.

Tucos idea might not be bad, but I'd suggest a % slider under the green up button.?

A slider is a good idea.

How does the slider idea work? Would it be in 1% increments? and would 1 slider set the greening up percentage for all the selections in the market?

My idea was to have a new box at the top of the ladder P&L column with either fixed percentages in a drop-down list (5%, 10%, 20%, 25%, 33⅓%, 50% or 100%) or a box for the user to enter the percentage desired to 2 decimal places such as 33.33%. Three clicks on 33.33% at different odds if all eventually matched would leave you fully greened up on that selection.

This would also mean you could have different percentages for each selection if you so wanted.
