Accepting odds on automated trades
I signed up to Bet Angel today and have loaded some rules into Guardian and applied them to some markets. One of these was a tennis match to back the favourite if they lost the first set. I was in the system at time and a couple of boxes popped up, one to say to I want to back the favourite at X odds and do I want to lay the favourite at X odds. I thought the point of the automation was for this to happen automatically. Would this rule still have been applied if I wasn't online?

And you'd need to be logged into Bet Angel and maintain an active connection to Betfair in order for it to retrieve market updates from them and send any bets as and when required etc

I did every time. Just did it again and clicked save and the same thing happens. It also clears all the automation rules I have applied to my markets in Guardian, changes the layout in Guardian etc. Every time I go in I have to do every step every time. I am obviously doing something wrong but I have saved each time and it doesn't save.
Are you logging in with the new setting profile you saved?ETPro wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2026 10:09 amI did every time. Just did it again and clicked save and the same thing happens. Or are you still logging in with the 'Factory Default' profiles selected on the blue login window?
You need to either choose the new profile you saved on the blue login window or switch to that profile after logging in

Did you tick the 'Save Automation Rules' box in Guardian?
