To those who have done a few "laps" of the horse racing trading calendar
when does it pick again in terms of quality/volume etc? I'm thinking it would be good to start again a month or 2 before things pick up so I'm prepared to take advantage.When does it pick up again.
The consensus seems to be that the racing markets are very thin at the moment and its much harder to profit. I'm just mulling over whether to put my trading on hold for a bit and have another go a spin-up on the poker tables instead.

Around Feb/March I would say. It will be a long hard winter.
