It was snowing heavily and only the AW racing survived.

Was a nightmare, I can hardly believe we've only had 1 card called off so far this winter. Let's hope it stays this way

I was headed for a monster year last year and was looking for December to the icing on the cake. Instead it was one of my worst months ever. The only ice was the stuff I removing from my guttering each morning.

Ditto this year for me Euler! PLEASE NO SNOW this season!

It seems the norm in the last few years to accept that it WILL snow and wipe out a good 4 -6 weeks of the jumps calendar each season. Surely this hasnt always been the case?

Normally frost is the biggest threat to racing during the winter even without the snow, so many times in the past we've had multiple 'precautionary' inspections all morning only for the metting to be called off 10 mins before racetime. We've been incredibly lucky so far this year
