One way is to use different accounts.

Another is to use different stakes: e.g. 10.11, 10.22 etc

There is another way but not using BA

Dif accounts. I dont understand that one.
I like the dif stakes. Good for back. Trickier for lay unless it is without projection.
Intrigued about ofher way...

1. You could conceivably get your mum a betfair account and use that, in theory, or an MSA account, but they're not readily available

2. You can lay to lose $50/$55 easily enough

3. You can use the API and use something called customerstrategyref and tag each set of bets

Luke just be mindful of how partial matches will affect your ability to separate your bets if you're hoping to use stake as a differentiator.

Is there anyway to setup different instances of BA to output their logs to different folders?

Good point. When you say seperate BA, can you elaborate for me.
I currently use vps.
Do i create an admin and a user for vps and then run seperate BA, i did this a while ago but cant remember my reasoning.
I worry though that this limits me to two seperate auto strategies.
Is there another way where we can somehow use logs to show triggered bets and bet sizes and automation Rule names?

Not sure if that would work or not. It would be similiar to what was suggested a while back about using signals to identify different strategies. If you have 5 bots on each market and a couple of dozen rules files in each one then it might work for the opening part of the trade but the closing part would probably get lost on the log in the noise especially when you have several log entries within a second or two of each other.

Would love to know if others can make it work but for now what I do is analyse the data at the end of the week not the profits. It won't show where your profits come from but it will show you in broad terms what part is working and what isn't.

You'll need to duplicate the Bet Angel folder in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Bet Angel Limited\Bet Angel - Professional' to make a second copy of the application and then edit the file BetAngel.exe.config in that folder..... you'll see a line <add key="ConfigName" value="Bet Angel Professional"/> you could change that to <add key="ConfigName" value="Bet Angel Professional 2"/> and you'll have a completely seperate work area as if the two instances were running on different PCs.

I've done as above:

1) C:\Program Files (x86)\Bet Angel Limited\Bet Angel - Professional - duplicated Bet Angel - Professional and added a 2 to the end to make the second folder 'Bet Angel - Professional 2'.

2) In the 'Bet Angel - Professional 2' folder then edited the file BetAngel.exe.config to <add key="ConfigName" value="Bet Angel Professional 2/>".

3) I've also re-named the 'BetAngel' application file to 'BetAngel 2' from which I then created a desktop shortcut and from which I then added a taskbar shortcut. So in the taskbar I now have a 'BetAngel 1' and a 'BetAngel 2' icon which when click once takes me to the login screen.

Both appear to work perfectly well, but my worry is that at start-up when clicking the taskbar icon on BetAngel 1 (having previously been used and closed in 'Live mode'), if I have then been using BetAngel 2 in 'Practice mode', the login screen on BetAngel 1 has the radio button selected for 'Practice mode' even though BetAngel 1 was last used and closed in 'Live mode'.

How can I be certain and confident that no files between the two folders are being shared?

Any help or reassurance greatly appreciated :)
