Yep, there is an API problem. You probably are best logging in via a non API mode.

Yes, but you need to have the very latest version of Bet Angel to make it work. If you get an authentication error it means you are using an old version and should download the latest.

Just downloaded the latest version and logged in via mode 1.

Still having problems, just to let you guys know.

Mode one didn't exhibit any problems and shouldn't as it doesn't get the prices from the API. The API appears to have settled down again now anyhow.

Good to see betfair have to time to tweet about the xfactor but have said nothing about the current problems which have been going on for about an hour or so.

Generally speaking, which is the fastest in retrieving the prices and delivering them to BA; API or Non API and any idea of the difference??

Not sure it's the API.

I'm connecting via connection mode 1, but have the same problem (but I'm in practice mode, so maybe I am connecting via the API anyway - I don't know).

Betfair quick off the blocks to tweet about the problems, not...

I've just tweeted them to ask if there are any problems with the API; I bet I don't even get a reply!

Wouldn't let me in either said password was incorrect and locked my account very useful! Had to call them "must be a technical glitch" was the quote very helpfull
