The thing is (in my mind) why hasn't Channel 4 or others tried the same with Labour, Conservatives, Lib Dems etc. ... or is 'the establishment' just after one party? Compare with the £500k 'Chinese donation' to Barry Gardiner described by MI5 as Chinese political interference. As an ex tax avoidance planner it seems an obvious way to circumvent the rules and I find it difficult to believe it hasn't been used many times by all parties!
