BETDAQ Sold to Matchbook
I've got a Matchbook account, but I've only really used it occasionally though, such as when I was doing arbitrage, and a few other times as well.
I have read some negative accounts online about Matchbook, including on this forum as well, but any interactions I had with their customer service were mainly positive, such as when I received a refund from them, due to a problem with a bet.

twitter discussion says Matchbook paid 4.4m kangas for Betdaq.
Thats dont seem much - but might explain why they are prepared to just park it.
if on-course books provide liquidity the racing markets should grow - but the commission structure discourages traders etc - so its hard
to see how far they can go with it.

I hope something can be worked out, it would be great if there was a way to make Matchbook a tradable exchange

Its Sad Matchbook have taken over Betdaq and not continued it as a Exchange. I would never open an account till they make it that model am only interested in Trading its like losing a strong piece of Armoury of your game. I doubt they will keep Betdaq customers i for one just Transfer the £500 i had in Betdaq into my Betfair account and the balance into my Ladbrokes fun Bet account.

Could anyone tell why Matchbook is so not good for preoff traders?
Premium charges? Arent they like Smarkets in terms of those PM charges?
