guys can you help me..

todays 4pm k.o's saw 4 games live in play.

after 8 mins 2 were at 0-1 the other two at 0-0..

no other goal was scored. so nearly 6 hrs of play with no goals

at 10mins after k.o odds on current score 0-0, 0-1 were all approx 9-10ish..

what was the likelyhood in odds terms of no more goals... am i right in thinking its 9x9x9x9...

?????

any help appreciated...

im trying to get a handle on multiple odds % and thus odds with a view to backing and laying..

and this seemed to me to be a highly unusual occurance

cheers

If the odds of 0-0 or 0-1 were at, say, 10 then it suggests that there's 10% (1/10) chance that the score will remain at that and therefore no further goals. And the chance of no further goals in all four games wouldl be 0.01% or 1 in 1,000.

photon brill..
can you tell me how you get to that predictability...

e.g 1x10 =10 x10 =100 x10 = 1000 x 10 = 10000.
im confused over the 4 markets etc and the actual real odds which you say are 1000.

it seems to me it should be 10000 not 1000 ....but im thick.

im really keen to understand

YOu're right its 1 in 10,000 not 1,000 as I said it. Basically to get probability of all four matches without further goal is to multiply probability of all 4 matches 10%x10%x10%x10%=0.01% or 1 in 10,000. This is obviosly based on the assumption that the odd at any given point in time is a fair reflection of the probability of that outcome.
