ummmm yea.... i don't really know why i'm admitting to it cos i'm pretty embarassed and feeling pretty bad about it but that was me. I was trying to back at odds of 1000 with a 2pound stake but did odds of 2 with 1000 pounds.

Respect to you for this candid post. Anyone who has been trading for any period of time has surely made an error which leaves you with your head in your hands. My guess is that as you are prepared to admit to your error, you will have the ability to bounce back quickly. Good luck to yourogerpalmtree wrote:ummmm yea.... i don't really know why i'm admitting to it cos i'm pretty embarassed and feeling pretty bad about it but that was me. no way of hedging my losses in that situation but I did get about 50quid back, just laying at 1000 again. I have no idea what the rest of the money matched at those lower odds is about as only 1000 of it was mine. I guess maybe the situation fooled a few people...
Anyway like you say Morph although its an absolute howler there isn't much to do but move on. For me 1000 pounds is a good couple of weeks trading but in the grand scheme that isn't that long.... I guess at least I'm a trader and I know I can get it back, if I was a casual punter I'm sure it would affect me more. I know one thing I'm never going to make that mistake again!!!!!!!!!
