Not sure what I am doing wrong but I am playing around with BA in practice mode and am looking at setting a stop loss in the ladder with a right click but it just isn't working. I've watched the video and can't see what is wrong. Any ideas??

Make sure you put your Back or lay bet in first. It has to be matched.
Then right click on the opposite side of the ladder to where you placed your bet.
Make sure "use global settings " is not ticked

Should work

Thanks. Have got it working - sort of. But it will not let me place the stop where I want it. For instance I am playing around with one now...placed a back bet and want a stop just 2 clicks away but it won't let me place a stop anything less than 3 clicks. I must have a setting somewhere but blowed if I can find it. :P

Sorry - 2nd thought occurs. Is it possible to set the stop bet - in this case a lay - to red up rather than just match the back bet???

On the ladder you can right click anywhere to place the OC stop loss. You must click above or below the current price but it isn't dependent on having an order in the market.

Thanks but it is still being selective as to where I can place the stop loss. Just now I have right clicked on several prices and the only one it would let me do it then wanted to place a BACK bet when I was trying to set a LAY bet to stop a back bet already placed.

In addition. When I do set a stop loss bet and then navigate away from the event to look at something else, when I come back the stop loss has disappeared, regardless of whether it has been activated or not.

HELP...............

I think you may be mis-interpreting how to use it? You can't set a stop at price in the future as you will be in profit. So you have to apply a stop below the current back price or above the current lay price but not vice versa. If you did and entered an order into the market you would create an instant loss.

If you switch markets you will lose the stop. The way to avoid this is to add the market to Guardian and use offsetting with a stop. Guardian will remember where the stop is held and action it automatically in the background.

Thanks. sorry to be a complete numpty but just to make sure I don't get this wrong. Set global settings to preset offset and stop. I assume I can still manually set the stop (with redding up) and it does not trigger at an automatic point? Am I correct?

Thanks again
