Because of RacingUK coverage there are clever timings at Maydan. Why not use the same method on Boxing Day, or other bank holidays?

So at 20:20 (Dundalk) this evening, where were the horses? Sauntering round the paddock with not a care in the world.
At 20:25, the horses finally arrived at the post and just sauntered around for a while.
Finally, they loaded the horses into the stalls and the race got under way over 9 mins late.
Ok, there were no clashes with other races - but I doubt whether it would have been any different had there been.
Had they got their finger out, they could have started on time, more or less - BUT THEY DIDN'T.
What's the point of a race schedule?
Psycho

It got worse. The 21:15 race didn't get under way until 21:29.
I despair.

Would be good if they could ditch the 2 afternoon meeting days we have had recently and have next week. Would sooner one blank day and one day with 3.
Stunning work by the schedulers today!
Wolves & Fairyhouse clash no less than 4 times today and where they don't clash they are only 5 mins apart with big gaps then to the Lingfield races. Not bad for a day with just 3 meetings
. Has anyone heard of any changes to the timings?

Can't see too many clashes at Wolvs happening going off the latest pictures - can't see them racing tbh.

Wasn't one of the AW meetings an additional one? If so it would have been a good idea surely to have scheduled it much better with the odds of the turf racing being on very poor.
Going off the forecast I wouldn't be surprised if Lingfield had trouble racing later in the card. Wolvs imo will abandon at some stage today.
The issues with Wolvs won't be the racing surface, it will be the walk ways, public roads etc etc. The track can be kept open relatively easily.
But heres hoping I am wrong and it goes ahead okay but inspection now scheduled...

What I don't get is why 'we' pander to Channel 4 so much when it is 'we' who pay them to put the bloody racing on in the first place!
