Betfair closed my account. Can I switch my BetAngel Account?

Hello!

I tried to contact the BetAngel Support on this topic. But I can't solve the Capta code on the support-page. I tried 20-30 times. I don't think I can read that badly?!?

Maybe I find help and answer here.

Unfortunately Betfair has closed my account. I've already contacted the Betfair support. I was told: "Your account represents a commercial usage profile." I've recently been experimenting a lot with the BetAngel "Practice Mode". This could be the reason

Anyway: I asked Betfair to open my account again. If they do not, I would have to open a new Betfair account. Is it possible that I switch my existing BetAngel account on a new Betfair account with a new username?

Ok, now I was able to solve the capta code and submit my problem to the support. It seems as if the capta service was down...

Commercial usage?
That's a new one on me. I wonder what defines commercial usage?

There have been a few discussions on the forum about this. Basically if you read Betfair prices without betting that seems to constitute a 'commercial profile'. But Betfair wont say exactly how that profile is defined. If you place some bets it seems that it isn't picked up.

I have already placed bets on a few hundred euros in the past. In recent weeks I've only tested and I did not bet. That's why I've fallen below the limit of 100 Betfair points earlier in the week. That seems to be a critical threshold. Only a few days later the account was closed. Perhaps one should be careful with the "Practice Mode" when below 100 Betfair Points?

For all who are interested: BetFair has opened my account on request again. They advised me, however, that I should use the historical data in times in which I'm not active betting.
