You can bet on it on Betfair. Was odds on not to be on last time I looked.

The poll the other day on the Racing Post was an interesting one askign if people would sooner they call off meetings as soon as possible rather than the last minute thus giving it every chance to be on.

The majority by some way I believe said they would like it to be called off asap.

Someone on twitter posses a good question though - so x% would sooner they called the Gold Cup day off as soon as possible rather than giving it every chance to run. Doubt it!

Pose effectively the same question in a different way and it can lead to a very different result.

MK Dons vs Carlisle was recently called off, even though 400 Carlisle fans had already travelled 150 miles towards the match.

Likely no more jumps races for Feb except for the odd Saturday meet. Bad luck guys.

She works for a charity so little chance of that. Besides next week is half term so plenty of time then to enjoy time with the whole family.

Newbury odds against not going ahead on Saturday but the forecast is terrible. Got to be worth a few quid.
