Todays racing was disgusting, i had all red balances lost 9.1% of my bankroll, must admit i think if you play in Practice mode to long the live market tends to bite hard.
I really think football markets are more profitable in the long run anyone agree

Your post proves how psychology plays a huge part in successful trading. One bad day and it's so easy to start questioning oneself after a couple of setbacks.

I agree with the practice mode though. I think it has uses for trying some Excel bots or automation strategies, but not for straight trading.

Hi
I had a better than average day on the horses yesterday..but Ironically I lost on the football! I was trading the Arsenal game joined it just before the second goal. I 'saw' the money get swept up (my 20 quid included) as the goal hit the back of the net..maybe someone either at the match or with faster pics than me.
I decided at that point to shut bet angel down!

Hope today is a better day for you!
regards
Peter

Yesterday I managed to do that yesterday on another match. I saw it was a goal, had a go and my order hit the market before bf suspended it, but didn't get matched as someone else was quicker. It's a shame, I must say, that this things happen.

I once had a dispute with betfair, because on another match I was running a risky tactic. I was supposing betfair suspend monkeys wouldn't fail and when I saw a penalty could have been awarded, I laid @1.6 something that was trading at 1.8, because I thougth that if a penaly had been awarded I'd be safe because i wouldn't get a match and if it didn't, it would be a sure profit. Just if...

Lesson learnt! If you can't beat them, join them ;)
