that's too true Jeff.
once all this excess liquidity sloshing around the system has pumped up stock markets it starts to look for a new home and a lot of it ends up in commodities.
increasing commodity prices then act as a natural regulator on economic growth. that's one of the problems with QE. you can't underestimate the impact of oil prices on an economy like the US - it's massive.
