Why betfair did not pay 3rd position here? It was 7 horses race. Thank you in advance.

Betfair only pay first 3 if there are 8 or more runners at the time they stick up the market. Pretty much the same as bookmakers each way terms except Betfair will continue to pay first 3 if there are any non runners after they put up the market.

Were there any non runners or was it just a 7 runner race?

I checked if there was non runners but I could not find that information.
From betfair time form says 7 ran

Just looked on the drf.com results site , there were no 'scratches' (non runners) so it was a 7 runner race and betfair would only be paying front two only.
