Setting a stop loss in Excel

Discussion regarding the spreadsheet functionality of Bet Angel.

Hi, can anyone tell me how to put a stop loss into excel after the initial bet.
I used the stop:x command but it didnt fire. What am I missing?

Stop losses are attached to an offset bet. So you need an offset to attach a stop to it.

Apparently not. You can right click the ladder to do it manually. It should be possible to do it in excel

My advice to any newbies is to tread carefully when setting a stop loss. You need to be confident that the market will see a consistent, solid amount of money on both sides of the book, especially on your selections. Otherwise, you'll find potential profits wiped out in an instant, as temporary gaps in prices will fire the stop loss.

There is no single instruction to replicate the right click stop loss.

You will need to code your own stop to fire a bet in when it hits your chosen level to close.

BA reports the unmatched value in a cell so it should be pretty easy to trigger an exit at a pre-determined level by using the IF command.
