That's exactly it... a few leftie liberals who live in a media bubble (and in the posher parts of London) get to decree what is 'appropriate' or not for the rest of us to think.

Real racism works both ways... have any of you heard of this case? probably not, because it was the 'wrong way round' so got precious little media coverage.

Here's a case you won't read about on the BBC news website: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... FREED.html

payuppal, you're wrong

I know this is a football debate, but my Mum & Dad lived in Featherstone, Wolverhampton from 68-71. Enoch Powell's constituency was nearby and he was considered a local hero. Immigration was having a serious impact on life there, so his speech was definitely relevant
I'm sure he was considered a local hero.

But I doubt whether the people who were lauding him stopped to consider why there were immigrants in their area.

First kidnapped from Africa and made to work as slaves in the West Indies.

Then brought over to do the jobs not wanted by the locals at the time...

What were they supposed to do?

Go back to Africa?

Payupal, im also a red head and i must say your comments are the only comments that have ever bothered me in 35 years. Unlike the other lad ive never had a problem with banter and always given my fair share back. Your off the cuff comment was pretty low. You basically said its okay to have a bash at gingers because we were never punished thousands of years ago.

More drivel.

How does this compare with uprooting millions of people and turning them into slaves?

Or systematically denying much of the population a vote on the basis of their skin colour?

Are you taking medication?

I said that there is no systematic discrimination against ginger haired people, nor should there be.

You are not denied a vote on the basis of your hair colour.

That's the point.

Yes, but IF (with no more distractions) Man City win all their last 10 games they will be Premier League Champions, as they have home to Man Utd to come.

Yes but if United win their remaining 10 games they will be champions - in fact a draw against ciddy will do.
My prediction is that United will be clear by the time they go to Eastlands and even a defeat won't stop the champions retaining their title :)

Given the results at the weekend I'm really interested in the Man City vs Chelsea match on Wednesday.

Liverpool 1-0, now 2-1 down at home to Wigan. Got to be worth a few quid on a comeback as Liverpool have dominated the match.

NEW revelation from Patrick Viera on the BBC website

Something I've noticed for sometime...

PS Man City will still win the Premier League with 8 straight wins.
