How are you finding the markets? Just finished the 15:05 at Kempton, decent enough race and £1m matched. But I was struggling to get anything filled. Wierd.

Ditto. I found the feature race not to be filling so great, but a couple of the others have been nice when there hasn't been a race right infront of them.

I wish the BHA would just start the day half hour earlier in order to cut down the clashing

I agree with you, the timing and clashing of races is crazy. They start meeting at midday in the peak of summer so what's the problem now. Makes no sense to me.

Equally the football schedule is utter non-sense. So many people would watch so many more games and give chance to the lesser known, lower league sides if they spaced out the schedule. Who in the football fraternity doesn't want to increase the audiance? No logical reason in this multi media viewing age we live in now adays. Yes, I apppreciate the last day of the league is an exception and a few other occasions.

I'm struggling to get any decent turnover through the markets today. Race after race I just can't get matched. Roll on the flat season!

I have found other Saturdays to be more difficult than today to be honest, enjoying when the flashing layer makes an appearance. But I am trading from a smaller bank so won't notice the drop in fills that other have experienced.

Looking at the stats today has been one of the poorest Saturdays for fill rate on record. Curious. I'll start collecting more detail stats next week to try and find out what's going on.

Saturday used to be "pay day", lately it's "get through and hope to win something"

Thursday is my best day of the week now. Sunday is hit or miss. Either brilliant or dire and nothing inbetween.

Lots of steamers today, maybe thats stopping other stuff from filling as they fly in?

i agree. i used get get roughly double profits on Saturdays compared to the average of other days, but these days it's not even my best day. agree about Sundays too - it depends on the quality of the racing.

today has been a great day for those backing favs pre-race.

rather bizarely I had a good day?

I think thats more down to the fact I was determined to be properly focused as opposed to pretty relaxed about trading the past few saturdays.

I still found the markets much better than the last months worth of saturdays though.

The volume seems really low today - Just 251K on the 17:15, for example, despite a favourite that started around 2.26.

Got to say I am finding it the opposite, yes not much money around especially compared to the last week but found the markets very good.
