Hi

I watched some of the videos and set up an automation rule but seems to loose more than win

I used offset bet above 1 tick
Green up 3 times for last 10 sec and 5 sec after race started

Anyone think it's better to do manual?

I think novices need to tread carefully with automation.
Having an automated trading style is fine for experienced traders who know how the markets work, and know exactly what conditions they require for a trade. Your bot doesn't think on it's feet, it lacks emotion and doesn't care about anything other than it's commands. This isn't always a good thing

Manual trading is how you learn to trade, and how you form an understanding of how the markets work.

I'm not suggesting novices cannot make from money from automation, not in the slightest. I'm just sending out a warning that additional knowledge helps considerably

I think automation is actually ideal for learning because you can test the markets with little risk or time spent examining how they work. We made it compatible with practice mode and put the export P&L function in there for exactly that reason.

One area people go wrong with automation is that they become overly obsessed with the actual automation and forget that market selection actually has quite a bit to do with being successful. It would be nice to think that a one fits all approach can just print money, but the underlying situation is that there are a number of facets to a successful strategy.
