I have to be quick here, I am insanely busy

In this race we see the return of Osgood whom I gave a mention for last time out at a big price. We also opposed the favourite so it was a double payout for some. I would have this as clear favourite on my tissue so I am somewhat surprised to see Enroller at 2.90  Mind you, I am pleased to see such a low price.

This horse has such a round action and despite this he ran a dreadful race at Leicester last time out on soft ground which should have suited him really. That was over 2m and I a not convinced he truly saw out the trip. Yes he was running on a bit at the end but the others apart from the easy winner were out on their feet!

On breeding I would suggest that 2m3f is beyond him and looking at his action I would suggest today's much faster ground is unlikely to suit. I have checked previous form and there is nothing to indicate faster ground will suit.

Okay so if connections know he is likely to handle the ground and the extended trip then fine, but do they really know that and would you pay to find out? I know that at 2.90 I have to lay him and look to trade out in running if he pings the hurdles and handles the ground. If that price is too large for you then you could look to lay him with 3-4f to travel. You'll have to take the risk he travels well to that point and the price shrinks - I think he may struggle to get home.

To be honest, every other runner could beat him it's that tight! I would not put anyone off a place lay at 1.88 as he may not make the places with only two paying.

Sorry it's brief but good luck if you play. Once again please add your comments as all are welcomed.

Crikey someone else must agree with me, the price has gone from 2.90 to 3.20 in the last couple of minutes!! I can assure you it wasn't all my money!

That's the benefit of being brave sometimes. I was happy to lay it all day especially when it went odds on in running. For anyone that race reads you could see that he wasn't happy on the home turn and had to be niggled. The winner didn't go a breakneck pace yet Enroller could not make up the ground let alone pass him.

They only pay on the line, there are no pictures on the result card and Betfair has paid me! :D

This horse needs 2m or 2m1f and then he will be okay. How they can bet 2.60-2.70 with no proof of trip or going is beyond me especially when he's beaten by a horse priced at 15.5!

I need to check the sectional times but on first viewing they didn't go a great pace which suggests Enroller did nothing more than get home rather than stay the trip well.
