It's about a month my boyfriend is giving some of the sport trading insights to Italian newbies, this morning he received this message from a follower. I thought I'd share it with you.

“No man can reveal to you aught but that which already lies half asleep in the dawning of your knowledge.
The teacher who walks in the shadow of the temple, among his followers, gives not of his wisdom but rather of his faith and his lovingness.
If he is indeed wise he does not bid you enter the house of his wisdom, but rather leads you to the threshold of your own mind.”

Hi Enzabella,

The prophet was given to me many years ago by ex girl friend, it is full of worldly wisdom for an individual to interpret. Well worth getting a copy I feel

I first read "The Prophet" about 40 years ago. In my opinion there is no other book that so simply and eloquently expresses the most important precepts for living one's life. Although written in prose form it has a poetic beauty that invites readers to consider various basic tenets without proselytising in any way.
This little book captures all the ancient wisdom of the "People of the Book" perfectly - yet can be applied to all aspects of modern life. You require no other to guide you through life.
I recommend it to all.
cheers
