I think there are some weird prices on offer today, none more so than the price of Bourne in the 4:50. I cannot understand why this horse is priced at 7.6 and his conqueror that day Ataglance is priced at 20? That was a great performance by the latter and his jockey achieved it without the whip which he dropped around 2 out! I know he's been put up 5lbs for that effort but come on the prices just cannot be correct?
In earlier 4:15 race the sectional times suggest Lovecen is better than the bare form on offer. The trainer Alan King is now in form and at around 16 this offers a decent each way bet. It is a shame they only pay for the first three but there is a lot of dead wood in this race and they wouldn't win if they started now. The favourite is worthy of his position but I couldn't bet him at 2.66. This could be the fastest ground he's encountered and he had an issue that forced him to miss the Cheltenham Festival so at his current price I would have to pass him over. I know of tipsters are putting this up as a maximum bet but at these prices you'd need certifying. You only have to get one wrong and suddenly you risked a lot of capital for a poor return. There will be better 2.66 shots on offer than this one!
Good luck

come on BA, get a private forum area going for subscribers only and pay this man a retainer - no other tool can offer a tipping service like JG!
great stuff JG - i hope you make a fortune from your hard-earned insight. if you were an investment bank's fundamental analyst with similar results to those you have produced of late you'd be getting 7-figure bonuses.
i didn't see the post until now unfortunately

Many thanks to Vandaltheripper, Lagos and Superfrank, your kind comments are greatly appreciated.
A quick aside. I gave the tips to a mate who is a bit down on his luck - he's not a trader and he's not a mad gambler, his health is poor! He was on holiday so he popped into a bookies and did them all in 3 x £15 doubles. He didn't go each way which shocked me but he went for the s**t or bust approach. It was so lucky because his wife insisted they went into Edinburgh for the day and he agreed so he could put the bets on.
He didn't see the races or the results and by the time he found out it was late. He was in a local pub and someone was talking about the racing and bemoaning their luck. When he heard them say "how the **** could Lovcen win that race" his ears pricked up!
He is now happy for his wife to go shopping again in Edinburgh!

he took all three of my horses, Vulcanite, Lovcen and Ataglance and he bet them in three (3x) £15 doubles taking early prices. That was an outlay of £45 for a win of ~£3000. If Vulcanite had won...well I don't know...vandaltheripper wrote:What do you mean by 3 x £15 doubles?? LOL
