VPS Price

I have been using the VPS for 1 month now.

I was about to pay for my 2nd month when I realized the price has already increased from 30 to 35 quid.

Is this something that I should have known about as I can't remember reading anything about a price increase after 1 month?

What's the reason for this increase?

For existing customers there is no price increase. For new customers we have had to uplift the price due to an increase cost of service and the introduction of a new rate of VAT from next month. If we left the price as it was, we would lose money, so the new rate for new customers merely reflects the increase in cost. We have taken the hit for existing customers.
