River Dragon now trading @ 3.0 and been as low as 2.7. It's a 7 runner race where at least 5 are in with a shout. The horse ran on the flat a couple of weeks ago. Maybe the trainer wants us to think that it was a sharpener for this race? Well maybe it was and maybe it wasn't. In any case, the true odd, IMHO are about 3.9-ish and at 3.o it's a good lay/back in running opportunity.

There ya go.Beaten by Rosairlie (who was also sharpened up by being run on the flat a couple of weeks ago).

Yeh - in his dreams.At evens, I'd have taken out a loan with Wonga.com - only kiddin'.

Where do ATR get their commentators from anyway - Rent a Tw*t?

Having said that, thanks to ATR, I layed at odds lower than I should have got - so I shouldn't complain.

Apologies, Dear Readers, for not giving you the heads-up like Jolly Green does.All I do is look for horses whose odds are way high (and back) or way low (and lay).I then make up some kinda excuse for laying or backing.It ain't exactly rocket science but,there again,it doesn't need to be. Just common sense really.But,as a really good friend of mine used to say, 74.5, common sense ain't very common.Who in their right minds backs a 3.9 shot down to 2.7 anyway? ATR listners - of course!!
