Hello all,

First post, so apologies if I'm being stupid

I have a question I was hoping somebody might have the answer to - or at least could point me in the right direction ;)

Scenario - dutching 3 horses. My concern would be that after clicking 'place bet' in the BA software, only two selections match (due to liquidity issues).

Is there anything I could do that says something like, "IF dutched selections matched, place bet, if not, scratch?"

Best,

Depending on how long before the event there is an excellent chance you will get matched even if the odds move as you will be first in the queue at that price. The closer to the start the more volatile.

Wait a few minutes and then manually move the price down by using the +/- button until you get matched. With experience you will know if you are likely to be matched or you need to adjust. Chasing the price is not a good idea, a little patience is needed, that's all.

The other possibility is that you could write an excel spreadsheet to do the dutching automatically. That way yoy could have the spreadsheet check that all the runners you wish to dutch have enough money available to allow the dutch to be placed.

Also depending on the sport as if its horse racing or some greyhound then you can select to take SP for unmatched bets.
