2morrow the announcement....
In modern football to be permanently enshrined as one of the best you have to win in more teams or perhaps at least in two European Major leagues. "(See Mournho, Capello, Ancellotti, Benitez etc etc"....
let's add Fergusson other wise Jeff will disagree ;)England and Scotland will count. :D .
In the other hand why would you leave the best team in the world just to prove to be one of the best manager..
" ( see Fergusson, Wenger etc etc)..

I think he will leave

He's expressed his admiration for English football in the past, he speaks excellent English and is very good with the media. It looks as though he needs a fresh challenge and Chelsea are the obvious favourites. Abramovich is not short of money, but the performance of Di Matteo might have changed his outlook. Man City might be tempted, especially if Mancini is sacked after failing to win the league. However, this doesn't even take Mourinho into the equation, who also seems to be hoping for an English return

The one club that wouldn't surprise me with Pep, is Arsenal. I still think Wenger might be a surprise name on England's radar. Also, Wenger may surpsise everyone by needing a fresh challenge himself, and seems to have influence over the Arsenal board. Wenger loved Barcelona's style and appeared particularly impressed by Guardiola, so would likely put his name forward as a replacement. It's a long shot, but possible

Why not go the whole hog and get him to manage England?

Hi lettiss, I don't always agree with you but, the Arsenal theory is the most fascinating one. I did not see a single paper mentioning this option which is very possible. Now that you say that, I can see Guardiola 100% spot on as Arsenal Manager.

If Abramovic has any sense, he'll stick with Di Matteo as Chelsea manager. Di Matteo has finally got the team firing on all cylinders, which IMHO is far more important than what particular tactics you use.

You could bring in a manager who's won title after title, but the risk is that he doesn't gel with the squad or clashes with Abramovic, and you're back to where you were a couple of months ago...

A Marca is reporting Guardiola has told the players he will leave Barça in the end of the season.

What most Chairman don't get is that the best managers have a philosophy which will need to run through the club. From youth, to tea lady, management etc.

Look at Man Utd with Ferguson as well as Pep with Barcelona.

If I was Guardiola, I would not touch Chelsea with a bargepole as Roman has no patience.

I was quite looking forward to having a play with the next manager market but Vilanova has already been appointed for next season.

After today's result, if Abramovic doesn't give di Matteo a permanent contract at the end of the season, he needs his head examining!

Well, Pep left and problems started!

Messi is injured and won't travel to Germany.
