Must be that sort of day. I just got away with murder too. Was writing a really complex Excel spreadsheet and got the logic wrong. It created a nastly liability on some horse at AYR but it lost.

How do lay horses at Ayr when they are racing at Musselburgh?
Can you send it to us all?

The best one of these for me was when a horse called Baltimore Jack was running. It had won its previous start under an apprentice so it was effectively a winner without a penalty. It was my intention to trade it and let the profit run. Sadly I made a complete and utter horlicks of it. Each time it went up I was backing and each time it went down I was laying. I was caught out every time the "mad bomber" hit the market. I found myself at around £140 red and so I decided to red up and take it on the chin. I clicked the button and decided at that point to go for a breath of fresh air and refocus. I then decided to switch off the PC and not trade the remaining races.
The horse romped home and I was cursing myself saying I should've backed the damn thing! The next morning I logged into my account to find the balance was too high. I had tried to red up just as the market was suspended so my order was cancelled so had accidentally backed the horse!!
