The signings will balance the books.
Are you all forgetting he sold Meireles for 12M, Ngog for 4M and Torres for 50M.

Henderson will get his money back, Downing and Adam aside he did OK. Carroll has not been fit for most of the season, that is obvious. He will come good, although I agree he wasn't worth 35M.
Suarez was 22M he is worth double that now.

At Liverpool he won 3 championships, 2 FA cups and the Carling cup.
He went to Blackburn and delivered the Premier league.
Took Newcastle to an FA cup final the Celtic to a League cup.

Only 2 other managers have ever won Championships with more than 1 club (Herbert Champan & GOD himself (Cloughie).

How does that make him clueless?

Coming from a Celtic supporter, Dalglish was/is a terrible manager. The night Celtic got through to that League cup final they ended the game with 8 defenders on the pitch against Kilmarnock. They also Lost 4-0 at Ibrox. He bought a Brazillian player called Scheidt (pronounced shite) for £6m (alot of money at the time) who he never even watched live and who turned out to be exactly as his name suggested. He has wasted so much money at Celtic and Liverpool - what is his concept of value? He obviously doesn't have one and that is a critical aspect of being a manager. I was reading some of the fan reactions to his sacking on the bbc and cannot believe how dumb some Liverpool supporters are - they base their judgement on their manager on nostalgia, Newcastle fans did the same with 'King Kev'. When you make judgements based on emotion they are nearly always wrong.
