Just heard on the BBC that Frankel has picked up an injury on the gallops.

Hope it is nothing too serious.

Just had a call from Aintree from a man in the know to say that Frankel has been retired!

Synchronised dead, Frankel retired and last GN on BBC has left me depressed and deflated. I love racing but the lows are really low. :(

The overhead shot was really revealing. It was amazing to see his stride open up when the jockey gave him a nudge.

Fab.

James Willoughby still managed to find something to moan about afterwards. he does my head in, 'wish they'd get him off RUK.
