hi ,I have three 23“monitors set at 1920 x 1080 resolution, and the betangel vps has display set at 4096 x 1080, obviously I can't span the vps on all my three monitors, but is it possible to span it on just two of them?
Any suggestions would be really appreciated!!!
VPS question
thanks for the reply but that's not what I am looking for,my problem is when I use "mstsc /span" on three monitors it only covers 60% of the screen, the rest of the screen are blank black,I guess that's because of the betangel vps has display set at 4096 x 1080 and my screen resolution 1920 x 1080 x 3 has exceeded that,
so I just want to span it on two monitors when I have three monitors aligned side by side, is it possible?
I must have misunderstood. I thought that link explained perfectly why you are seeing what you are seeing.
A quick search in Google turned this up - http://www.windows7hacker.com/index.php ... windows-7/
Maybe that will help?

hi,thanks for your suggestion, it works fine over two monitors if I turn off the third onePhoton wrote:I have two monitors and VPS spans perfectly fine over the two monitors. I guess you need to set up your pc for two monitors and have a separate source for use your third monitor.

Have you tried specifying your own height and width parameters?
You could try something like mstsc.exe /w:3840 /h:1080.
Not sure if it will fix exactly to two screens as it may always have a window title for the RDP session, but you could try to accommodate for this by reducing the height by the height of the title bar plus any borders (e.g. /w:3832 /h:1064) if RDP will let you to get it to snugly fit two of your monitors. You may just have to play around until you get it right.
Nice setup btw
