I have been trying to automate as much of my horse laying during the day with some scripts. This has presented me with a few questions. The script i'm using for the horses is basically checking if the price drops below 3.00 between +2hours and +30mins before the off, if not, checks if the price is below 4.00 then lays for £10. The question i have is once i select the horse by name for the lay at 3.00, is there any way i can half the tedious work of having to select the horse by name for the lay at 4.00? I only need one lay bet placed, preferably at 3.00 else 4.00 if not possible. Also what is the best way to stop two lay bets being submitted, at the two different prices?
One more thing, the way things stand at the moment, i have the same horse script saved 5 times for the 5 different horses i want to lay. Is there any way i could just have one script whereby i change the name of the horse, or is this not possible?

If you write a sheet for excel you could have it check every runner between the times you want and place the lay if the odds are right for your strategy. If you do not clear the O column in the Bet Angel sheet then that will stop any futher bets from being placed. That should be cleared at the start of the race(check this), or certainly at the change to a new race so you could leave this running and not have to look at it. Of course if you want to select runners yourself then you would have to do that, or add that into the spreadsheet if you are selecting on criteria on the betting.
