a new anti-gambling mode
I'm trying to teach someone trading hr markets. The habit of gambling, chasing loses inplay, laying the field looks so promising to him that he often forgets the main idea to make money by trading. If at the log on screen we could block all the features apart from ladder and with a close all 5sec before the off time option then maybe it will kill the gambling temptation and increase concentration. Just an idea...
Don't agree with you I'm afraid
Your friend needs to realise that a lack of discipline is disastrous for would be traders. He also needs to embrace losses, as they will happen and sometimes those knocks are good for you.
The successful traders learn from them, the unsuccessful ones get frustrated and reckless.
Shutting down BA features in order to firewall somebody from making heat of the moment decisions, will definitely not make them a better trader

If I were the God I would take off the part of his brain that is responsible of gambling and install an additional discipline module
I agree with you LeTiss. The hardest part of a beginner is not to chaise loses. That cost money. And these lessons are too expensive sometimes. It's hard to see how people do stupid things just to regret later. That's why I came up with this suggestion..
