I think the English have a great squad of players for the middle and defence, I'd be more worried about Rooney missing the first 2 games.
Welbeck is unproven at international level, Defoe has never played a full 90 mins for England yet and been substituted in every start, and chances are Carroll could be supplied with crosses by the team mates who couldn't find him all season!

But it's cool, no matter who scores, Terry will take the credit
