Just read this , Italians fear 2-2 draw conspiracy would knock them out on head to head/goal difference. 2-2 is trading at 9s .. that seems low for 2-2 in my book.

what does every one else think.

I am pretty sure this happened in a previous Euro's didn't it?

The draw drifted a lot now... Does anyone know why?

£153k of the £219k matched on the correct score market has been traded on the 2-2.

What happens if it's 1-1 between the Spanish and Croatians, and Italy win 5-0.

its been reported that the spain coach insists that they are going for a win and planning for a 2-2 is out of the question.. maybe this is why ..... i think a 1-1 everything level then goals come into play so italy still have a chance but 2-2 would definatley send them out.... as Peter said something similar happened in 2004

i remember the 2005-06 uefa champions league Arsenal and Ajax toppped the group and couldnt be caught. Ladbrokes the shrewdies they are priced the draw at 4/5 ... both sides fielded weakend teams and the game played out to a 0-0.

I'll be very happy to lay 2-2 draw

In 2004, Sweden & Denmark would have seen reaching the quarter final as a massive achievment. So, once the score became 2-2 and they knew they would both qualify, they just both backed off

However, Spain are European and World Champions. They don't need to manufacture results with Croatia in order to qualify. It's seems total bloody nonsense to me

By doing so, Spain would ensure to be the group winner and avoid France in the quarter finals. Do they even need it?

The cynical masses have backed the 2-2 draw down to 5/1 on account of conspiracy theories. Yes, it happened before with Sweden and Denmark to eliminate Italy, but that match could have been 2-2 under normal circumstances. Spain, as reigning World and Euro Champions have far more dignity that that.

Consequently, value lies elsewhere. BWin go 10/1 on the 1-0 and 2-0 scorelines to Spain. Ignore the conspiracies and back the best side to win by the most common scorelines at a combined odds of 5.5.

Spain will dominate possession, create a few chances, and frustrate Croatia. Under normal circumstances these odds would be half of those available.

Spain to win 1-0 at 11.0
Spain to win 2-0 at 11.0
