I am having trouble getting what i normally do on betfair to work effectively on betangel the tools dont seem to be working (or are not availiable yet). What i want to do is place a bet on one side of the market then wait for this bet to be taken before offsetting a new bet once and only when the first bet becomes matched? It seems that the offset tool offsets straight away non dependent on whether the first bet is matched or not?. What i am doing at the moment is using a 99999 second fill or kill with the 1 tick offset which does make it wait. However i then get the problem that if the money partially matches for example £100 of my £500 gets matched first the offset bet doesnt fire even after the full £500 becomes matched? I hope there is a way to do this on betangel as i know that another trading software does! and iv heard that bet angel is the best and latest most up to date software???

Scalping with offset
If you have selected off set bet, you need offset (ticks) to at least 1, fill or kill bet ticked at set to some value, maybe only 30s. You don't need to worry about offset batches at small stakes. If you want to offer money to the market set Force open to 'reverse'.
There is a little check box that needs to to clicked to activate the fill or kill, it is on the left side of the box for putting in the amount of time.
Also there is a box for batches, if you change that to say 10, then it offsets you bet in ten batches, so a bet of 500 would get offset each time 50 is matched.

Thanks shamrock that seems to be what im looking for ill try it, BetAngel do you mean that i only need the fill or kill value to be 30 seconds if i set the force open to reverse. I dont want it to ever kill the bet but i dnt want it to offset the bet if the bet hasnt been matched?
Yes i know that lol but what i said before was that i had it set to 99,999 seconds which is how long i want it to wait but then when the money gets partially matched it doesnt fire the offset bet as you say it should? even after the full amount has been matched?

If you want it to offset parts of your order you need to apply batching to it.
If you have offset batches set to 10 on a £100 order it will start offsetting the order when each £10 of that £100 has been matched. If you set it to 50 it will offset each £2 as it gets matched.
