I wonder if I could ask for some advice/views.
I have created a very simple rule to enable me to place bets into racing markets at a given time before the event goes "in play". Currently testing at min stakes.
1. Place the bet at given time
2. Green/red up at given time
3. Cancel Unmatched bets at given time (to cover for 2 not being matched)
4. Green/red up at given time
I figured that two opportunites to green should be enough.
I am loading up all the days UK and Irish races applying the rule and leaving guardian to manage.
I have removed all screen savers and just turn my screen off to save burn.
What I am finding is that two or three times a day the green/red up rule doesnt fire. The log reveals nothing.
Would any of the more experianced users have any thoughts as to what may be happening and anything else I could do to ensure that I dont end up with an open bet "in play"
Thanks to all who are providing such excellent threds in this forum.
Automation - Greening Up Not Always Triggering
Are you setting the refresh times and checking the tick box in the advance settings of guardian. that sounds like your problem , if its firing most of the time and only not on a couple of occasions it sounds like that . if your loading up like 40 races at 1/2 a second refresh that will take gaurdian 20 seconds to cycle and check 40 races , by ticking the box and setting say 60secs before and 400secs after you will be telling gaurdian to concentrate on only that particular market instead off them all . Try this 1st it should work.
